About Your Tutor
Our tutor has devoted years to hand embroidery as both a practitioner and a teacher. Based in England, they have worked with complete beginners and with stitchers who want to develop their technique. Their approach is patient and methodical: each workshop is planned so that you leave with new skills and the confidence to practise at home. Many participants return for follow-up sessions or recommend the workshops to friends and family.

Our Approach
We run live online workshops so you can learn from home. Each session includes demonstration, practice time and Q&A. You can join from anywhere with a stable internet connection. Our teaching style is clear and supportive: we show each step on camera, pause for you to try it yourself, and answer questions as they arise. We believe that seeing a stitch in real time and being able to ask “how did you do that?” makes a real difference to your learning.
Workshops are delivered in a calm, focused way so you can concentrate on your stitching. We keep groups small so that everyone has a chance to interact. If you need to catch up later, we often provide access to a recording of the session so you can review the techniques at your own pace.
Who Can Join
Workshops are open to complete beginners and those who already stitch. We cover basics first, then build towards more advanced techniques and projects. If you have never picked up a needle, we will guide you through choosing fabric and thread, threading the needle and making your first stitches. If you already embroider, we offer sessions on new stitches, design ideas and finishing methods so you can expand your practice.
